Amanda and Justin were married in a quiet ceremony on Buck Island, a few miles off the coast of St. Croix. We had a wonderful sail over via Caribbean Sea Adventures. Captin Austin and his first mate made the trip over very relaxed and special. It was nice even as the photographer to experience all that CSA had to offer. For both large and small weddings alike, what makes a wedding special (aside from the obvious) are the details. It truly is the little things everyone remembers. For Amanda and Justin’s wedding, I loved getting to know them better on the journey over, the spectacular weather, the signature cocktails, the beautiful hors d’oeuvres, the desolateness of the beach, to name a few. Once we arrived on the island I could help but notice we were the only people there. We had the entire island to ourselves. What a treat!!!! I helped Amanda get dressed and prepare for her first look, which was a great test of my sea legs. When Justin saw her for the first time in her dress it was truly awesome. I’ll never forget the look on his face. Captin Austin performed a beautiful ceremony. Afterwards we took our time having fun with photos. It was so fun, so relaxed, and so intimate. When we finally docked in Christiansted I felt like I had just returned from a mini vacation!
