Sofia and Paul are a very loving couple who were so excited to share their lives together. Although they wanted a small, intimate ceremony, it was also important to them that their mothers be there to witness this important moment.
To celebrate their love and symbolize the joining of their futures, they incorporated the tradition of handfasting into their ceremony. In a handfasting ceremony, ropes or cords of varying lengths are used to wrap the couple’s hands together solidifying the verbal oath they’ve made to each other. Sofia and Paul chose colorful ribbons to bind their hands, and incorporated their mothers into this portion of their ceremony.
Their wedding turned out to be a beautiful evening at the Renaissance Carambola. Even for a small, intimate wedding, the staff at the Camabola went the extra mile to make it a very memorable event.
